Outdoor trampolines for fun
Trampolines are a great way to exercise and socialise for kids and adults alike. It is brilliant fun but it also has several prove fitness and health benefits! Regular use of trampolines increases your fitness and muscle strength by elevating the pulse rate of your body and also ensures oxygen is pumped around more efficiently. A good trampolining session, like any other aerobic exercise, will make you feel healthier and more alert and because trampolines are usually outdoors in the garden, a good dose of fresh air is an added bonus.
Becaue trampolines produces more aerobin exercise than jogging, doctors often recommend use of trampolines to the heart patients to help strengthen their heart. A ten minute trampolining session provides the same health benefits as a half hour run and is much more entertaining to boot! Trampolining also uses almost every muscle in the body, especially the stomach muscles, arms and legs, so the activity is ideal to keep your tummy trim, your bottom toned and your thighs slim.
As trampolining have all these benefits, the biggest concern many people have is the safety. Circular 14ft trampolines, 12ft trampolines, 10ft trampolines, 8ft trampolines from leading, reputable brands can all incorporate trampoline safety nets that completely enclose the trampoline bounce mat and avoid any tumbles or spills. Most injuries occur on the mat of the trampoline itself, but the better makes generally employ a “double bounce” system. This uses two layers of well padded and cushioned sprung mats to reduce the risk of injury, provide a very forgiving bounce for kids and yet still handle a 17 stone adult (although obviously if you trampoline regularly, you won’t be 17 stone for long!)
Recreational outdoor garden trampolines are circular to encourage all the bounce is towards the centre for safety reasons. Where as rectangular trampolines are intended for athletes, so this might be a good option if you just want it for fun in the back garden. So helping to strengthen bones, trimming, toning tums and bums, improving fitness and even detoxing your lymphatic system are all side effects of trampolining. It’s probably your mental health that will improve most though. The sheer exuberant fun of jumping up and down in a safe environment is guaranteed to make you smile or laugh out loud and that will make anyone of any age feel really happy!
